## How to set privacy

### Private or Public projects

- **Private project:** only visible to project members.
- **Public project:** visible to anyone with the link.

### Set a password

Project links can be protected by a password, ensuring only those with the link and correct password can view the project.

### Anyone inside the Organization

Users with the Organization plan can set "Anyone inside the organization can view," enabling easy access for all team members.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I share a Heurio project without inviting people by email?

Yes. Use the 'Share link' tab — copy the project URL and send it however you like. The link respects the privacy level you set (Public, Password-protected, Organization, or Private).

### What's the difference between Public and Anyone in the organization?

Public means anyone on the internet with the link can open the project. 'Anyone inside the organization' (Organization plan only) means anyone signed in to your Heurio organization can open it, but external visitors with the URL cannot.

### Can I password-protect a shared project?

Yes. Toggle the password option in the Share popup, set a password, and share it separately from the link. Only viewers who enter the correct password get access.

### Will shared viewers see live updates?

Yes. New heurios, replies, and severity changes appear in real time for everyone with link access — no refresh needed.
