Welcome to Heurio
Heurio documentation: install the Chrome extension, pin comments on live websites, run heuristic evaluations, share projects, and manage teams in the Heurio web app.
Welcome to Heurio. This documentation covers everything you need to install the extension, run reviews on live websites, collaborate with your team, and manage findings across projects — whether you're a UX/UI designer, QA tester, developer, product manager, or marketer.
#What is Heurio?
Heurio is a collaborative platform for website reviews, bug reports, QA testing, and heuristic evaluation. It integrates directly into your browser so you can:
- Pin structured comments on any live website. Place a "heurio" on any element with a note, suggestion, severity, screenshot, and optional heuristic reference using the Heurio Chrome extension.
- Collaborate across roles in real time. Invite designers, developers, marketers, QA, and PMs to the same project so feedback loops stay short and unambiguous — see Invite Team Members.
- Run reviews against built-in heuristic guidelines. Reference Nielsen's 10 Usability Heuristics, Dieter Rams' 10 Principles of Good Design, Shneiderman's 8 Golden Rules, Weinschenk & Barker, and more — or compare guidelines side by side.
