Manage Your Team

Group Heurio users into teams (Developers, UX Research, QA, Copywriting…) and add an entire team to a project in one move. Available on Heurio's Organization plan.

Why teams: instead of inviting 12 designers to 30 projects one by one, group them into a 'Design' team and add the whole team to each project in one click.

Heurio's team management feature offers a streamlined way for organization admins to manage project access and collaboration by organizing users into teams. This guide provides an overview of the feature, how to create teams, and how it enhances the feedback workflow.

#Creating teams

Note: This feature is available only to users with an Organization plan and admin permission. If you're interested in Heurio's Organization plan, book a demo.

  1. Creating a team:
    • Admins can create teams to reflect different roles or departments, such as Developers, UX Research, QA Testers, and Copywriters.
    • Once created, teams can be added to projects within the organization, allowing for efficient team-based collaboration.

#Benefits

  1. Efficient project access: add a team to a project and every member is granted access at once.
  2. Access management: remove a user from a team and they lose access to every project tied to that team — a single action covers offboarding.
  3. Collaborative workflow: each department or role contributes effectively to the right projects without manual seat juggling.

#When to use teams vs. per-user invites

  • Use teams when the same group of people work together across many projects (your design team, QA squad, content team).
  • Use email invites or a shareable link for one-off reviews, contractors, or external stakeholders who don't need long-term project access.

Frequently asked questions

Who can create teams?
Team management is available to admins on Heurio's Organization plan. If you're on the free or individual plan, you can still invite users one by one — teams are an organization-level convenience.
Can a user belong to more than one team?
Yes. A user can be part of multiple teams — for example, a QA engineer might be in both the QA team and a cross-functional product team.
What happens when I remove someone from a team?
They immediately lose access to every project the team is added to. This makes offboarding fast — no need to revoke each project individually.
Can I add a team to multiple projects at once?
Yes. Once a team exists, you can attach it to as many projects as you like. New projects you create can include the team from the start.
